Planning and Implementation
The most critical time in any computer project is also the most over looked,
the planning stage.
Can't tell you how many times we come upon a project several months after
it started, only to see the original plan was flawed. Which alway's ends
with someone saying "what can we do now to not loose the money we've
spent?".
The bottom line is, if you started wrong, in most cases, we have to start
over. What ever you did, is often a complete waste of money and time.
It takes information, time and experience to plan and implement or upgrade
a companies software and or computer systems. This isn't like buying a
car, "I like fast and red", you need to plan for;
- Total active storage capacity
- Software selections
- Necessary processing power
- Bandwidth
- Security
- Needed backup capacity
- Work station deployment
- Emergency planning
Why not use our in-house IT staff? Simple, experience. Unless your company
has many sites running different network operating systems. and uses a
wide array of software, your staff won't have the experience. Unless they
are installing a complete company network from start to finish on a weekly
basis, they haven't felt pressure or honed the skills necessary.
Here at Kel-tek we average a complete company install every other week. During the busy seasons it's more like two projects a week. We're not learning new skills at your site. Rather, we are using mature, honed, proven, decisive, and highly skilled individuals to complete your projects in a timely, cost efficient manner. We have saved companies many thousands of dollars over the years. We can do the same for you.
